Meltdown Studio was founded by jewelry artist Lauren Tobey in 2006. Located within the Factory on 5th Artspace in downtown Albuquerque, NM, the studio has grown into a fully-equipped classroom and open studio workspace offering a wide variety of classes, private instruction, and studio access. Meltdown Studio also houses five permanent bench rentals to local jewelry artists who enjoy 24-hour access to the studio as well as a creative and supportive working environment.
